Susan has worked in the veterinary field since she was 17 years old. After a couple of years filling in as needed, she became a permanent part of Jefferson Animal Hospital in 2010. She started at a young age by first showing Morgan horses. This was followed with raising and showing Australian Shepherds in breed, obedience, tracking and protection. She moved from Florida to Georgia in 1991 and has been a resident of Jackson County since 1994. She has an Associates of Arts in Psychology from Gainesville State College and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. She has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1989 and they have one son, Tad. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling, although it is usually to her son’s poultry shows.
